Easter Cross Garland

Easter Cross Garland

With Easter right around the corner I was looking for a way to update some of my home decor.  One of the things I did was create this beautiful cross garland.

The garland uses neutral colors so it is perfect for most home decor, or you can brighten it up with more tradition colors.

STEP 1.I used this wooden cross I found in my stash and removed the twine from the top.

STEP 2. Then applied some of this gel stain using a baby wipe.

STEP 3. I placed a piece of tape on the end of some white cotton string and began stringing the beads.

I have had these beads in my stash and they were perfect for this Easter garland.

I have been trying to mostly use items from my stash for the past few months and it has been fun finding things I forgot I had.

STEP 4. I placed the string thru the hole in the cross and tied a simple knot to hold it.

STEP 5. And then cut the string off of the ball and tied another knot to hold the beads on.

I had to make a big enough knot so the beads wouldn't slip over it.

I love how beautiful and high-end this Easter wood bead garland turned out. It was quick and simple to do and you can do it too!

Let me know what you think in the comments.

Oh, did I mention you could win this amazing garland, along with two other neutral Easter decor items?
